More about Saltwater Classroom
Saltwater Classroom is a non-profit organization based in Maine, USA that is committed to a new wave of ocean education. We believe that the first step towards a sustainable future on our Blue Planet is a renewed emphasis on ocean literacy. From education stems passion, and from passion blooms stewardship.
Our programming is driven by hands-on, engaging education delivered through in-person workshops, as well as our online Ocean Literacy Platform. Rooted in expanding access to ocean education, Saltwater Classroom allows participants to connect with the marine environment and build a foundation for a lifelong commitment to ocean stewardship.
